PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Dancers’ Studio West, Board Chair 2024 - present, board member 2021 - present.

Core Purpose: Dancers’ Studio West exists to support independent dance artists in Alberta. 

Mission. To fulfill our purpose, Dancers' Studio West offers programming that cultivates independent artists' work from ideation to production so that artists can flourish in their chosen artistic movement practice.

Key Responsibilities include chairing meetings, overseeing board committees, chairing the executive committee, tracking the the financial and logistical sustainability and long-term strategy of the organization, being a sounding board for the Artistic Director and holding the big picture of DSW’s mandate and mission in the forefront of the discussions and decisions.
